Next to the Dark Mode feature, there is one WhatsApp feature that most WhatsApp users need most – the same WhatsApp account to use on two different phones!
However, this feature has been suspended for a long time, just like Dark Mode mode. A recent release reported that WhatsApp is currently in talks to add this “capability” to WhatsApp, and it is likely that this “dream feature” will be announced soon, using the same WhatsApp account on both phones.
What’s more interesting?
It is worth noting that this information has been released via WaBetaInfo, a website that reveals “almost” accurate information about the upcoming features of WhatsApp.
What’s interesting is that this feature, which allows simultaneous use of the same account on two phones, will also follow end-to-end encryption, for which WhatsApp has to handle a process, WaBetaInfo’s report has revealed.
No prior permission!
At present, WhatsApp does not allow you to run an account on more than one phone. You can use your WhatsApp account only when you register. It is important to note that if you try to use the same account from another phone, you will automatically exit the previous WhatsApp.
When this particular feature is ready, WhatsApp will also release its iPad version, the WhatsAppetaInfo site said. This means you can use your WhatsApp account on iPhone and iPad.
What became of WhatsApp?
WhatsApp users in India are also waiting for the WhatsApp Payment feature. The feature, which has been in operation for some time, debuted in India in February and has reached over 1 million users.
However, due to regulatory hurdles with the Reserve Bank, WhatsApp is waiting for the approval of the Reserve Bank to officially launch its Payment Service.
Apart from the above features, WhatsApp is also working on a feature called blacklist. It is said that this feature was first introduced on iPhones. If you enable this feature, you will not be able to send Group Input to the specific person you choose.
