Vodafone has recently been offering some interesting prepaid plans to its customers, under the aegis of Mukesh Ambani-led companies such as Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.
One of those is Vodafone’s Rs 229 plan. What are the benefits of this plan? What is the validity period? What other Vodafone plans like this? Will it compete with the recently announced Reliance Jio’s Rs222 all-in-one prepaid recharge plan? What about Airtel? Here are the answers to such questions!
Vodafone is offering 2GB of data per day with a validity of Rs.
Well where and when does it differ?Vodafone’s Rs. 229 prepaid plan is a bonus card unlimited plan. This means that it does not provide any Talc Time. However, Vodafone subscribers can enjoy unlimited local, STD and roaming calls within India with 2GB of data per day if they recharge the plan.
The Vodafone Rs 229 prepaid plan provides 100 SMS per day to its subscribers, excluding data and voice benefits. Besides, users who recharge this program can watch free live TV, movies and more via the Vodafone Play App.
Reliance Jio: 4 new all-in-one projects launched; Starting from Rs.75!
Is there any other similar plan?
There! Like Vodafone’s Vodafone’s Rs209 prepaid plan, it offers 1.6GB of data per day, while another Rs199 recharges 1.5GB of data per day. Users who do not want Rs.229 can consider both these plans.
Will it compete with Reliance Jio’s Rs222?
Reliance Jio, led by Mukesh Ambani, recently launched the Rs. 229 all-in-one recharge program. This is an alternative to the currently available Rs199 prepaid plan.
With this Rs. 222 plan, Reliance Jio offers 2 days of data per day, Jio to Jio unlimited free voice calls, 100 SMS per day and 1000 I-Jio minutes (calls with other network) for 28 days of validity. Vodafone’s Rs. 229 plan could be a good challenge for Jio’s Rs.
It is worth noting that another competitor, Bharti Airtel, has no prepaid recharge for Vodafone’s Rs 229 and Reliance Jio’s Rs 222.
